JR and the #83 crew ended their 2011 season with two rookie of the year awards at both Paducah International Raceway and Clarksville Speedway. He also finished fifth and fourth in both points standings, respectively.

Showstopper and the team look to continue their run in the open wheel modified division in 2012. The schedule has been updated with eight Florida races in February, click here to get the details.

The season finale ended with a bang Friday night at Paducah International Raceway. JR managed to pick up the win in the Street division and clenched his second straight points championship. He has picked up an impressive nineteen feature wins for the 2010 season.

JR would like to thank all his sponsors, the fans, and especially his crew Aaron, Robert, and Clint. A special thanks to his dad Ronnie Mason. Without them he couldn’t have done it. JR will be moving up next year to Modifieds and will be looking for potential sponsors.
